Soul Jam by Peshay starts with an atmospheric intro, building up and descends into a funky bass drop, using rhodes, piano, strings, horns, live bass, flutes and vibraphone to name but a few. The string lines give a big clue to the Philly Disco sound of the 70s combined with all the other instruments in the track, create that organic and authentic vibe of that time.

Soul Jam by Peshay takes inspiration from the 70s creating a vibe that is not heard in DNB productions these days. Creating new styles and being original is what interests Peshay as drum and bass is a blank canvas for experimentation. This has always been the appeal for Peshay as it leaves a lot of space for different styles and vibes within it. Soul Jam is again proof that Peshay is no stranger to creating original styles within drum and bass, always looking to create something new.
