Funk You Up by Peshay starts with rhodes piano and strings in the intro and builds up into the drop with a funky live bass and voice box vocals. As the track progresses through its paces, it features original keyboards, synths and fx from the 70’s, namely minimoogs, Jupiter 6 and Prophet V as well as horns and clavinet. This all develops the vibe reminiscent of the period to great effect harking back to those original days. Peshay enthuses that this type of track is great to listen to and not specifically just for a club environment, although works just as well on the dance floor.
